AOC leadership, in the pursuit and capture of federal business, has as a central competency the
support of decision processes and Capture Plans to assist our partners and clients in developing
a sense of common purpose and agreeing on the path forward in complex situations and organizations.
AOC facilitates processes to define a structured approach to decision making, so organizations or
teams can arrive at a shared understanding of the issues, develop a sense of common purpose and
achieve commitment to action.
AOC provides Decision Support through a series of intensive working meetings, called decision
conferences or Win Strategy meetings, attended by groups of people who are concerned about some
complex issues or participating in the pursuit of a major project.
The meetings are conducted as live, working sessions lasting from one to three days. A unique
feature is the creation, on the spot, of a analysis or models which incorporates data and
the opinions of the participants in the groups. The outcome of this process is a shared
understanding and agreement about the way forward for a specific pursuit and shared commitment.
