L. Frank Field, Chairman of the Board
Frank Field serves as the Chairman and CEO of American Operations
Corporation and managing member of a number of AOC subsidiaries.
Mr. Field founded American Operations Corporation in 1983 as an
entrepreneurial team of business development professionals focused on
the rapidly expanding opportunities in the government services market
specific to the Deparment of Energy. Mr. Field has earned a reputation as an innovator
consistently obtaining an edge for his clients. He is an energetic
builder of successful coalitions through teaming and joint venturing in
new or expanding markets.
Gina Baker Field, Vice Chairman of the Board
Gina Baker Field serves as the Vice-Chairman of American Operations Corporation where she has broad areas of oversight of the firm's personnel, facility, benefits and corporate development programs including the firm's web presence. Ms. Field began her career at American Operations Corporation as Director of Human Resources, and has served and directed the firms personnel and facility growth over its 25 years. During that period, she also was responsible for supporting and approving banking commitments, investments, acquisitions and charitable giving.
Richard P. Shields, President
Richard (Dick) Shields is President of American Operations Corporation and its Energy Services
subsidiaries where he leads all aspects of consulting services activities for the firm and its
clients. Additionally, he oversees new opportunity development identification, Capture Management,
and brings his 30 years of large project acquisition and development experience to the full range of
AOC and client business priorities with leadership in DOE and federal contract and grant
acquisition.
Dennis J. Connolly, Chief Operating Officer
Dennis J. Connolly, who serves as Chief Operating Officer, joined AOC in 2009 with over 30
years of experience in program and project management mainly in the real estate and
development industries. Prior to joining AOC, Denny served as a senior officer with The
Rouse Company, The Walt Disney Company, and The Mills Corporation. During his time at
these companies, Mr. Connolly led proposal and development efforts, totaling over 30
million square feet of building space throughout the United States and abroad.
Alfred Horton, Chief Technology Officer and President of AOC Connect
Alfred Horton has over fourteen years with program management experience. He has over sixteen years of
engineering and operations experience as well as experience leading multiple projects through
planning, budgeting, design and implementation phases. Mr. Horton has developed three separate
geographic information databases to track telecom infrastructure. Mr. Horton was one of three
inventors of an improved package ozone generation system for the non-chemical treatment of
process cooling water (awarded US Patents #5236673 and #5332556). Mr. Horton participates on
the proposal team in response to several large government telecom RFPs. He also has extensive
vendor/contractor management experience.
Michelle V. Silvia, Chief Financial Officer
Michelle Silvia serves as the Chief Financial Officer of American
Operations Corporation and its ten active companies. Ms. Silvia
holds primary management responsibility and operating controls for all
finance and accounting activities for AOC's operating subsidiaries to
include: A/P, A/R, payroll, benefits, contracts management, cash flow,
general ledger, monthly and year-end financial reporting, banking
relations, and DCAA audits. In previous years as Senior VP and Chief
Operating Officer, Ms. Silvia was accountable for the management
oversight of American Operations Corporation and its subsidiaries to
include: personnel management, contracts management, marketing systems,
and management of office systems and procedures.
Catherine W. Foy, Senior Vice President
Ms. Foy is a dynamic individual with 30 years of experience managing all aspects of human resources
and 401(k) retirement plan administration for multiple entities and subsidiaries. Ms. Foy has
extensive experience in the establishment and management of corporate benefit plans and programs,
401(k) retirement plan compliance and administration, development of work ethics and policies and
corporate governance.
John Gorman, Senior Vice President of AOC and President of PerformanceNet
John Gorman joined American Operations Corporation in 2003 as Senior Vice President from his previous position as Global Chief Operation officer at Headstrong, Inc. (formerly James Martin & Company). Gorman was with the company for 8 years and in his time there, he developed and implemented a set of best practices that lead to significantly improve operations. Prior to his time at Headstrong, Inc., Gorman held various leadership positions with Coopers & Lybrand and IBM Corporation.
Bruce K. Terwilliger, President of AOC Techlog, LLC
Bruce K. Terwilliger joined American Operations Corporation on January 1, 2011 as President of AOC Techlog, LLC. After a 20 year career as a U.S. Navy Supply Corps Officer, retiring in 1984 with the rank of Commander, Mr. Terwilliger had a second 20+ year career in the apartment industry.
