AOC on Fibertek team Awarded Quick Reaction Engineering for Warfighter Sensing(QREWS) Contract

FibertekOn August 24, 2010, Fibertek and a team of 45 subcontractors including AOC Global Services, LLC were awarded a contract by the US Army Communications and Electronics Command (CECOM) for "Quick Reaction Engineering for Warfighter Sensing (QREWS)." Support is to be provided to the Research, Development, and Engineering Command (RDECOM) Communications- Electronics Research, Development and Engineering Center's (CERDEC's) Night Vision and Electronic Sensors Directorate (NVESD) and sensor research and development community to accomplish its mission. QREWS is an 18 month, small business set-aside, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) multiple award, contract with a maximum of $245M.

This procurement will enable NVESD to perform its Warfighter critical mission of research, development, experimentation, engineering, prototyping and field support of Night Vision, Electro-Optical, Electronic Sensors, and Countermine and Counter-Improvised Explosive Device systems. This PWS pertains to the equipment, systems, facilities, and operations under the responsibility of NVESD and its partners both in the Continental United States (CONUS) and outside CONUS (OCONUS). QREWS represents the fifth IDIQ task order contract to AOC with other including eFast, DoD BOSS-R, Seaport-e, and PACTS to the Department of Homeland Security. AOC will support CONUS and OCONUS O&M, technical services, logistics, and support land and airborne sensing missions to the warfighter.
