MQ-1 Predator UAV Support

American Operations Corporation, throught its membership in Battlespace Flight Services, LLC provides operation, maintenace and flight operations support to the MQ-1 Predator UAV. The Predator is a multi-role Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) capable of reconnaissance, surveillance, target acquisition, killer scout, forward air controller, and combat search and rescue support missions. The mission of the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Battlelab (UAVB) is to work with the warfighter and identify problems that can be solved using innovative UAV/Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA) solutions. To accomplish the mission the UAVB team pursues high return initiatives with the goal of conducting each initiative with minimal investment and maximum impact to warfighter's UAV/RPA organizations, doctrine, training, and future requirements and acquisitions. Battlespace Flight Services, LLC provides full MQ-1 Predator support, including providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and services necessary to perform Predator organizational maintenance for:
  • Aircraft
  • Ground Control Stations (GCS)
  • Predator Primary Satellite Links (PPSL) BFS has the full responsibility for program management and providing support, following the basic requirements of AFI 21-101 whose task include, but are not limited to:
  • Maintaining equipment in accordance with approved AF technical data
  • Quality Assurance
  • Maintaining qualifications/Certifications for weapons loading
  • Parts/Supplies Ordering and Accounting
  • Developing flying and maintenance schedules

MQ-1 Maintenance Support includes all Aircraft Mechanics with MQ-1 Air Force experience and which are Airframe & Powerplant Licensed and also BFS trained and certified.
